We shall certainly do our utmost to fulfil your expectations, therefore, we are all always at your disposal for any reason that you may wish to see us.
 
Due to the measures imposed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus, we kindly ask for your understanding in following the hygiene rules/distancing requirements and your patience particularly in bars and restaurants where certain procedures must be followed.
 
In the meantime, may we take this opportunity to provide you with some useful information that will help you take full advantage of the services and facilities we are pleased to offer you.
 

USEFUL INFORMATION

Official International Check In time is 14.00 hrs.

An Early Check-in facility is always “subject to availability” on arrival whereby charges will apply depending upon the check-in time. Earliest possible check in (subject to availability) without charge is 12.00 noon.

If we are not able to offer you this possibility of course you can put your cases in the luggage room and start to use the facilities, ie pool, sun bed and umbrellas until your room is ready which will be at the very latest 14.00 hrs.

Alkion Restaurant:

  • Breakfast Buffet: 07.15 to 10.30 hrs
  • Lunch Buffet: 13.00 to 15.00 hrs
  • Dinner Buffet: 19.00 to 21.30 hrs

Coral Bar:

  • For drinks: 09.00 to 24.00 hrs
  • For snacks: 11.00 to 23.00 hrs

Abalone Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar:

  • For lunch: 13.00 to 16.00 hrs (last orders) Closed on Tuesdays
  • For dinner: 19.00 to 22.00 hrs (last orders) Closed on Tuesdays

Argo Mediterranean Restaurant:

Seaweed Sushi Restaurant:

Room changes to same type booked or upgrades to a different room type are by all means possible, on request and subject to availability. Upgrade of room type will carry an applicable charge. Please contact our Reception Team who obtain the available information from our Reservations Department and advise you accordingly.

Can be arranged by making your order directly with our Reception Team at least until 20.00 hrs the previous day. You can collect your early breakfast from our Reception Team between 21.00 – 22.30 p.m. on the previous night. Kindly note that you can make Tea/Coffee by themselves by using the tea or coffee with sachets provided in the room.  If you would like more supplies of Tea/Coffee/Milk/Sugar sachets all you have to do is ask at the Reception Desk.

It is possible to upgrade your terms of stay directly with our Reception Team.

For In-House Guests – Upgrade of Terms for a Minimum of 2 consecutive days:

  • From Bed & Breakfast to Half Board: €20.00 per person per day.
  • From Bed & Breakfast to Full Board: €30.00 per person per day.
  • From Half Board to Full Board: €15.00 per person per day

 

For In-House Guests – Upgrade of Terms for a Minimum of 5 consecutive days:

  • From Bed & Breakfast to Premium AI Dine Around: €70.00 per person per day.
  • From Half Board to Premium AI Dine Around: €60.00 per person per day.
  • From Full Board to Premium AI Dine Around: €50.00 per person per day.
  • From All Inclusive to Premium AI Dine Around: €40.00 per person per day.

 

50% discount for children aged 3 to 11.99 years

Guests are kindly requested not to sit in wet clothing on the upholstery chairs of the Lobby, Bar or Restaurant. It is usual to dress for Dinner and shorts above the knee (Sports Shorts or Hot Pants) Flip Flops or Sleeveless T-Shirts are not permitted. These points are very important to avoid any embarrassing situations for our mutual Guests.

Every room is equipped with a Mini Bar, which is free for use. It is possible for our guests to place their own supplies in the mini bar, however, we ask you not to overfill the Mini Bar as it is not a Domestic Fridge and its cooling ability will be significantly reduced.

The Mini Bar can be stocked as per the guests requirements from the Mini Bar list provided in the room (this shows details of items and charges). Orders should be handed to Reception Desk, who will arrange for the items to be placed in the Mini Bar.

Check Out time is 12.00 noon after which your room must be prepared for the next arriving guests. On your departure day please verify and settle your final room account, with our Reception. It is important for you to note that after the above time of departure, extra consumption cannot be charged to your room account (except if you have made prior arrangements with the Reception). We would like to remind you that it is important to leave the blue beach towels, in your room, at the end of your stay, to avoid any possible charges of them. We also kindly ask you to return the entrance card of your room to the Reception.

Official International Check Out time is 12.00 noon.

We of course try, whenever we can, to assist our guests by offering the facility of a “Late Check Out”, which is always “subject to availability” and cannot be confirmed until your actual day of departure whereby charges will apply depending upon the check-in time. If you require a late check out kindly contact our Reception desk at approx 10.00 am on your day of departure when we will confirm to you if a late check out facilities has been possible and the time until which you may keep your room.

Alternatively we have we have a free Courtesy Room facility located at the lower (-1) level, comprising of 5 self-contained rooms with separate utility room. These units can be booked “subject to availability” directly with our Reception Team.

If you would like to arrange any special requests like flowers, cakes, fruit, chocolate or balloons please contact our guest relations officer.

Please note that at least 3 days (before arrival) notice is needed in order to arrange.

Can be arranged by making your order directly with our Reception Team by 20.00 hrs (latest) the previous day (or earlier) and can be collected from the Reception in the morning of the day required. Kindly note that transfers of meals not taken or missed, to another day, cannot be done (International Hotel Regulation).

For guests on Half Board and Full Board the entitled meals (excluding drinks) are taken from the Buffet of the Alkion Buffet Restaurant.

For guests on All Inclusive or Premium All Inclusive Dine Around, please note that, the privileges of the relevant Cards run from 12.00 midday on the arrival day until 12.00 midday (check out time) on the day of departure. However, if you arrive late on your arrival date, ie after the closure of the main restaurant and your departure time from the Hotel is after check out at 12.00 midday, then we will arrange for you to take Lunch with drinks and Dinner with drinks in our Alkion Buffet Restaurant on the day of their departure.

Kindly understand that it is strictly not permitted, during the Breakfast, Lunch or Evening Buffets, to take any food, (sandwiches, fruits, etc.), when leaving the restaurant. Any available food on our buffets is only for consumption in the dining room (ie Alkion Buffet Restaurant). Guests are free to enter and re-enter the Restaurant during the assigned meal times to enjoy as much food as they wish, however taking food out of the Restaurant is against health and safety regulations and will cause unnecessary embarrassment to guests and staff when challenged.

For health reasons the White room towels are not to be carried to the pool or to the beach.  Guests are asked to put their used towels on the floor and they will get clean ones. Bath towels are only replaced if found on the floor. If they wish to use their towel again then they should hang them on the towel rack provided. We provide Blue Beach towels to our guests Free of Charge. The procedure to obtain and exchange Beach Towels is as follows:-

  1. On arrival guests will receive a Yellow Card to be exchanged for Beach Towels, together with a procedure slip.
  2. Guests should take the Yellow Card to the Pool Attendant, who is located at the stand opposite the children’s swimming pool, to be issued with the Beach Towels in exchange for the Yellow Card.
  3. Guests can exchange their towels for clean ones ONLY from the Pool Attendant one time per day between the hours of 10.15 until 18.15 hrs
  4. On the day of departure guests should return their towels to the Pool Attendant to receive their Yellow Card which should be given to the Reception Team on Check Out.
  5. Please note that if towels are not return there will be a charge of €5.00 per towel.
  6. It is not allowed to leave the towels on the sunbeds during the night whereby in this case the towels will be removed.

Although our rooms are fitted with a very sensitive sensor (activated by the slightest movement) for energy saving, in the very rare case that the electricity will deactivate, we can manually override this system to provide continual electricity. Guests who have health issues requiring continual electricity, for example for a breathing machine, are kindly requested to advise us.

Please note that our guest satisfaction survey will be sent by email to your on the day following your departure.  In addition for guests without email and who would like to complete our survey, this can be arranged by visiting our Reception or Guest Relations Officer who will assist you.

Our aim is to ensure you a comfortable, enjoyable and above all a trouble free stay at Cavo Maris Beach Hotel and we ask you to let us know immediately with regard to any comments, concerns or problems that are affecting any element of your stay with us. This can be done by contacting either our Guest Relations Officer (whose desk is conveniently located in our lounge area) or our Reception Team, who will arrange for a member of the Management Team to speak with you.
